📣Neogames News
- The Nordic countries are the official partner region of Gamescom 2024, the world’s largest games event. Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, and Estonia present themselves together in the large partnership pavilion in Hall 4.1 as the official partner region of this year’s event.
- Neogames Finland hosts Finnish, Norwegian and Estonian game studios in the partner region at the Nordic All Stars booth. The team has been busy building the booth, which will have a fresh new look!
- The European Game Developers Federation (EGDF) launches 2022 Video Games Industry Data Report. For the report, 20 national game industry trade industry associations have processed their 2022 data in a comparable format. The report, produced with the support of Video Game Europe (VGE), provides comprehensive insights and analysis on the current state and trends of the European video games industry and highlights key statistics and industry trends. - Pride Game Jam, a 3-day game development marathon that celebrates LGBTQIA+ people, takes place on the Pride Weekend, starting today and ending on Sunday.
- Dr. Annakaisa Kultima from Aalto UNI is looking for game professional’s input into the annual Games Now! 2024 Future Barometer survey investigating the current landscape of game futures & trends. Please respond by July 28, 2024.
- SuomiGameHub launches an online game jam in 5-8th July with a theme of reworking classic Finnish games. Event info in Finnish.

- Supercell announces Project R.I.S.E, a reboot of its in-development single player action RPG Clash Heroes as Watch the announcement video for details. A pre-alpha test is scheduled for early July. Mobilegamer.biz has a good summary of the announcement.
