Neogames accepts into membership educational institutions that provide game industry related education, games related research units, local game industry organisations (regional clusters), or companies and communities that provide services to the game industry. Game developer companies can become members of Finnish Game Developers’ Association (www.pelinkehittajat.fi), which is a member of Neogames. The members of Finnish Game Developers’ Association receive the same member benefits as the members of Neogames.
Membership is paid for annually, and is charged for the full calendar year regardless of the time of joining the association. Membership applications are processed and accepted by the board of Neogames.
MEMBERSHIP FEES:
- Educational institutions: 1 200 €
- Local game industry organisations: 2 000 €
- Research units: 700 €
- Service providers with more than 250 employees: 2 000 €
- Service providers with less than 250 employees: 300 €
MEMBER BENEFITS FOR EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS:
- Educational institutions network (meetings 2-3 times a year, information sharing, statistics, education reports)
- Expo visits and member events (such as Finnish Game Awards)
- One annual guest lecture (2-4 hours) in your educational institution by Neogames on the Finnish game industry
- Visibility as a member on the Neogames website in the Games Education section
- Basic level advisory and networking services, larger projects at a member price
- Neogames’ discounts for events where applicable
MEMBER BENEFITS FOR LOCAL ORGANISATIONS:
- Cooperation on trade missions, approximately 4-6 trade missions a year
- Member events (regional developer network, information sharing, common projects, Finnish Game Awards)
- Basic level advisory and networking services, larger projects at a member price
- Neogames’ discounts for events where applicable
- Advocacy of the game industry’s shared interests
MEMBER BENEFITS FOR RESEARCH UNITS:
- Cooperation on research and exchange of information with Neogames
- Contact with Neogames’ connections in the game industry, including the international industry networks via NGI (Nordic Game Institute) and EGDF (European Games Developer Federation)
- Visibility as a member on the Neogames website in the Game Industry Research and Education section
- Neogames’ discounts for events where applicable
