TagsWeekly News,
Fresh out of the GDC and PGC whirlwind in San Francisco, it’s clear that event season is speeding up. April and May are packed with opportunities to meet, mingle, connect, pitch and learn across to Finland and but also in Sweden, from Bit1 and several IGDA meetups across the country to Tampere Game Hub’s LEADERBOARD, Games Job Fair, and Over 7 Hills in Turku. May brings the Nordic Game Executive Summit and, of course, the full Nordic Game Conference with its expos, showcases, and awards. Also, a strong recommendation to watch the new YLE documentary series Raha-Suomi — episode 2 “Nörttien kosto” (Revenge of the Nerds) takes a look at The Finnish Game Industry.
