- Our event about game studio funding #GetFunded24 is approaching! Onsite tickets are sold out but mark your calendars for 16th April and join us at the live stream on YouTube
- EGDF takes a stand to condemn recent online harassment of game developers: “EGDF supports game developers’ right to artistic and creative freedom and defends their right to make independent choices about game design and content against censorship and any form of pressure or intimidation, including online harassment.”
- Neogames’ Suvi Latva participates in a panel discussion titled “What if N-Gage had succeeded — what would the Finnish game industry look like now?” at the Nokia N-Gage exhibition event day in Tampere’s Vapriikki Museum Centre on April 17th. Event is in Finnish.

- In Finland, the creative industries’ economy grew by €1 billion from 2021 to 2022. Gaming and entertainment electronics (€3.9 Billion) lead as the largest sector in Finland’s creative industry.
- Peliosuuskunta Expa – Digi & Game Center with FireFrame and Epic Games are setting up Finland’s first Unreal Authorized Training Center and gathers knowledge of the current status of Unreal use from Finnish companies and associations. Fill in the questionnaire to help!
- Deadline for teams to register for Bit1, a gamedev competition for game developer students in Finnish secondary and higher education is approaching: submissions are due 14th April. The winning team is awarded at the Finnish Game Awards.
- Natasha Skult join this year’s judges for Indie Arena Booth at #Gamescom2024 – submissions are due April 21st!
