Weekly News 14/25

This week’s news from the Finnish Game Industry is all about support in many forms. Obvious signs of spring are here and some rays of sunshine are breaking through, new sprouts (new promising teams, devs and companies) are growing and being supported. The Bit1 student game competition will announce its winner today, Finnish Game Jam has awarded two developers with Nordic Game Jam tickets and travel grants, and Supercell is now streamlining how game developers can apply for partnerships and funding. It also seems that several Finnish studios have reopened their recruitment processes. If you’re looking for a job, keep an eye on LinkedIn for open roles at companies that interest you—and don’t forget that Games Job Fair Spring is happening on April 24.
