- Mygamez Ltd. informs that China’s legislature just passed “their own GDPR”, the Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL) last Friday. It’s said to be one of the strictest in the world for personal data security and comes into effect on November 1. This comes shortly after the new Data Security Law goes into effect in September. Both new laws have been long anticipated by the industry and their draft versions have been available to the public.
