Slush Pre-event 21.2.2019
Helsinki is organizing a Helsinki gaming community promotion and matchmaking event in Tokyo, during the Slush week. Pre Slush event Program 21.2. at 15.00 – 19.00 will include keynote speeches by Helsinki games industry from the point of view of why Helsinki is the hotspot for games and how the community works collaboratively. The games companies present will also have a chance to pitch their games. The event will take 4 hours, with 2 hours for keynotes and pitching and 2 hours of networking. Together with the gaming community and local Finnish embassy, major Japanese game publishers and investors will be invited, including Sony, Nintendo, Square Enix and Sega.
Slush 22.2.2019
Helsinki Game Industry will also be presented at Slush Tokio. At Slush 22.2 Helsinki will have a 40 m2 booth with cool Helsinki VR experience together with demo desks for game companies. Helsinki will also have a 60 minutes game industry key note at Slush stage.
Companies attending pre-event are eligible to attend Slush in Helsinki stand. However Slush ticket is not included to package.
Why attend?
For companies Slush and its pre-event offers an opportunity to meet big players of Tokyo gaming industry. The Finnish ambassador will be present at the pre-event to gain extra attention. Helsinki will hire a local PR agency for the Slush week to promote gaming industry cluster. PR work will include media interviews, press releases and company cases. We will also support the entity with a social media advertising campaign.
How Much?
There is no participation fee for the event 21.1 or utilizing Helsinki booth during Slush 22.1. Companies take care of their own travel costs and Slush tickets.
