Housemarque won four awards at Nordic Game Awards, including Best Nordic Game! Normogames won the Bit 1 student game of 2022 with game The Riflemen.
The winners of game studies thesis competition are announced. Samuel Poirier-Poulin from University of Tampere won the Masters category with the work; "The wounds that never healed: An analysis of videoludic trauma in Cry of Fear" and Leena Hirvonen from Karelia University of applied sciences with work; "Unity digitaalisen oppimateriaalin tuottamisen välineenä"

For that reason Neogames Finland has compiled in co-operation with EGDF a discussion paper about Play To EARN. This paper aims to provide a general overview of this sometimes overhyped phenomena and explore key challenges this emerging games industry sector is likely to face before becoming established.
